Malaysiakini sepatutnya lebih sensitif tentang laporan mereka yang boleh mengguris hati umat Islam di negara ini. Malaysiakini tidak sepatutnya menyiarkan rakaman video temubual mereka dengan Ivy Josiah, Pengarah Eksekutif WAM yang secara terang-terangan mengutuk Majlis Fatwa yang boleh membangkitkan kemarahan umat Islam di negara ini.[Rakaman video tersebut boleh ditonton di sini]
Al-Jazeera pernah melakukan kesilapan yang sama bila menyiarkan temubual mereka bersama Wadi Sultan dalam video di bawah ini :
Akibatnya, Dr Yusof Al-Qardawi telah mempertikaikan tindakan Al-Jazeera itu dan meminta Al-Jazeera memohon maaf kerana menyiarkan pendapat seorang yang bukan Islam yang jelas mengutuk agama Islam dalam video di bawah ini :
Pada pendapat anda, wajarkah Malaysiakini meminta maaf dan menarik kembali penyiaran video tersebut?

tak perlu lah. biar depa tanggung risiko perbuatan sendiri. suruh mintak maaf. ... kita suruh...dia tak ikhlas...tapi dia buat juga lepas tu. lagi pun ramai juga penyokong pakatan melayu yang pro malaysia kini.....silap orang kita sendiri....sendiri selak kain... bagi memalukan diri sendiri . bila kerap sangat.... semua isu yang sentuh hal orang melayu dan islam di main mainkan oleh pemimpin dan pengikut parti parti melayu...so bagi mereka yang gelak dengan kita peduli apa ...rasa hormat mereka hilang....kalau di selatan thai...golongan yang membodoh bangsa sendiri dan caci agama sendiri aku rasa esuk pagi dah tinggal nama. salahkan diri kita kenapa kita tak bersatu. malaysia apa pun takira lah kini ker , dulu ker...apa nama pun...biarlah dia nak siarkan...dia tau lah risiko nak tanggung. kita berlapang dada cukuplah dan baiki diri itu lebih baik. jgn galoh galoh.

Please understand Fatwa and other types of religious rulings(BY ANY RELIGION) are made by people not GOD.
In fact many fatwas by different muslim countries in the middle east are frequently contradictory to each other.
So whose fatwa you want to follow?
It is a fact that many religious leaders are busy bodies with nothing to do but control other people's lives!
Even His Highness King Abdullah in Saudi Arabia face similar problems and that is why created so many free zones/cities there in S.Arabia where, the mullahs busy body types' Fatwa cannot be forced to apply.
People, grow up and understand that Islam's birthplace S.Arabia is moving forward so we better not go backward.
And don't be busy body-control freaks!

ReplyDeleteI strongly believe the issue has been taken out of context by Ivy. As Nuraflah has said the fatwa is for the Muslim, she cannot interfere. The Majlis is the responsible party when come to any issue concerning to the Muslim here in Malaysia. They make the fatwa but can they force the Muslim to go along with it is another issue. In fact, the Majlis Fatwa couldn’t do a thing if there’s a Muslim choose of not to follow along. Whatever fatwa made by the Majlis Fatwa is for the Muslim’s sake (as a whole) and the ruling were made basing to Quran, Hadis and Itjmak Ulama so if it basing to Quran, definitely it is from the God and not human-created ruling.
As for the Malaysiakini, yes for some small-logic reasons I think they should retract the article/video clip from their site and since they’re station in Malaysia, again..for a small logic-reason they should post an apology. Heyy…there’s another way of getting the rate up instead of playing the sentiment or creating any controversial issue.
in my opinion, let the video be up. it proves to show that we muslims need to do more in educating the non-muslims about islam. it is good that we know now that our weakness is not much information is conveyed to the non-muslims out there on what islam is and what we as muslims should do. even to the muslims we should convey the message, because of our weakness now that even the muslims are not well informed on islam.

ReplyDeleteFair comment lich. But not just the non muslim but the muslim too. There are so many muslim out there who can be considered to be the 'convenient muslims'. They are the muslim who will follow Islam if it suits them but will not if it does not suit them. There are Muslims who dont even want to fast during ramadzan and came out with a load of excuses and muslims who were caught in close proximity after having sex. Example is Norman Hakim. I believe there are politicians who are involved in immoral activities but let's leave that aside for now.
Fatwa is ruling by those who are in authority to make that ruling based on findings and their understandings from the Holy Qoran and hadith so as a muslim we must abide by it. Non muslims sometimes criticised these fatwa because they do not have that understanding and knowledge about Islam. I will give you one example here: some of my work colleagues are puzzled with how we determined the end of ramadzan. Why cant it take as 30 days fasting and why does it need to be with the sighting of the first moon. The moon cannot be seen obviously if it's cloudy, that's their logic.
As a muslim, l dont think it is right for the non muslim to criticise the ruling of these fatwas as their understanding in and their argument in Islam mostly are based on logic. And did you not notice that the questions always begins with WHY...

Pernolakan ini menjadi faktor terpenting agar musuh-musuh Islam tidak berani mempersendakan ajaran islam.
1. Bantahan melalui saluran yang ada.
Berkesan atau tidak.
(Sekurang-kurangnya ada tindakan.
2.Melalui debat.(seperti Ahmad Nijab).
3.Kehebatan pidato .
4.Usaha pemerintah untuk mendaulatkan hukum.
5.Perlakuan umat islam sendiri kepada kepatuhan pegangan Agama.
6.Persatuan Agama Islam sedunia.
7.Bantuan kepada Dunia Islam.
8.Mengambil tahu kesenggaraan umat Islam.
9.Pemantuan tentang keperluan semasa umat Islam(Teknologi).
10.Pejabat Agama di Malaysia ini diberi kuasa menentukan hala tuju dan di rombak semula sebab peranan semasa tidak berfungsi dengan jelas.
